Undergraduate Student’s Stress, Anxiety, Depression and their Coping styles during Covid-19

Introduction: COVID-19 was responsible for widespread disturbance throughout the educational system and harmful in a variety of ways. In particular with regard to state student’s psychological health. Purpose: This study examines relationship between distress (depression, anxiety, stress) coping strategies among students private university Bangladesh during pandemic. Methodology: A cross-sectional web-based survey conducted from September 2020 December 2021 on 951 respondents using DASS-21 Brief-COPE questionnaires. Results: The majority were experiencing mild extremely severe depression (75.8%), anxiety (88.5%), stress (79.1%). level (p<.001), (p=.23) significantly higher female compared male students. also highlights However, sex differences not profound adopting strategies. results showed significant correlation some measures, such as acceptance self-blame (r=.708, p<.001); use informational support emotional (r=.599, p<.001). Conclusion: As prevalence mental health disorders found be students, authorities should seek necessary assistance professionals their overcoming only related pandemic but day-to-day life activities.
